God calls every person to COME to HIM. It's a command for man and woman. Any reason that we may have for not coming to Him is an excuse.
I got a long to-do-list >>> excuse
My job is demanding >>> excuse
I got kids to care for >>> excuse
I got to clean my house >>> excuse
I can't get alone >>> excuse
I'm busy, busy, busy >>> excuse
My husband, my dog, my cat, my grandma >>> excuse, excuse, excuse!
When we draw near to God He will in turn draw near to us. We must make an effort to come to Him so that He will give us rest and also so we will find rest for our souls. This is not an option. If you want His peace, His freedom, His deliverance, His grace, and His joy we must COME TO HIM for REST.
When we fail to do this we have made every other thing the object of our affection and worship instead of the Father. Put away every thing that will cause you to take a passive approach to getting what you need for your soul. Take action and COME TO HIM. Fight for your REST!
Have a restful night
28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” -Matthew 11:28-30
In the middle of the night leading into Saturday during the retreat I started to literally hear the sound of the Shofar. It was so loud that the more I opened my eyes the louder it got. I thought to myself does somebody car horn sound like that. My heart started beating because there I was sitting straight up in the bed hearing the shofar sound get louder and louder. I said, "Lord are you coming back now?" I wondered why I was still here LOL because I need to not be here WHEW LOL! I checked on my roommate in the other room and she was sound asleep as I kept hearing this sound. I was so delirious with being on a buzz all through retreat and was so tired from being up half the night because the Lord trashed my original message and gave me something else that I drifted back to sleep still with that shofar sound in my ear. I told some of women at the retreat but made light of it at the time. BUT!!!!
This morning the Lord made it clear and called back to my remembrance that that shofar sound that awakened me out of my sleep was a call to put on notice that the people must be awakened out of their slumber. He brought back to me a recurring dream that scared me like crazy until the Lord brought it's meaning and I must tell part of it to you today. But in this dream I was on what seemed to be an assembly line and I was the only one that was twisting back and forth in unbelief of what was happening while everyone else did not seem to be aware that the rollers on the assembly was rolling away into a pit of fire. They were UNAWARE and SLEEP! What I did not do at the time was speak. My God!
Will you be ready when He comes?
The Lord is coming back soon. How soon? Who knows!? But I don't think you want to be found not ready when He does. We must speak forth and challenge people so that they can be shaken awake out of their slumber. It was a call to me but a call to you as well. Don't just let people be rolled into damnation and you not speak the truth of God's word and tell them about our Saviour!
People are lost in the church and out of the church. Many have been bewitched and have been taken away by another gospel. We are mixing Jesus with all types of worldly religions, influences, and rituals that are not of the GOD of the Holy Bible. God has put it inside everyone to know He is the true and living God but many will not accept it and will turn away from it. But we must still speak truth because there are still others who desire the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. It's time to challenge, shake, and awaken!
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. - John 3:16
It was by the grace of God
That I was able to forgive the man that molested me from the age of 3-18.
It was by the grace of God...
That I was able to forgive the man who I ran to for protection to put his tongue in my mouth.
It was by the grace of God...
That I was able to forgive another man I trusted to put his hands on me when I was younger.
Like many who have had similar experiences, when you are violated it can paralyze you in more ways than you think. I have suffered with the spirit of rejection, the orphan spirit, distrust, offense, and more. You cannot accomplish by your yourself and in your own strength what the grace of God can do alone. God’s grace is not just any ole gift, it’s a supernatural gift. When we are stuck in unforgiveness we are trying to manage our hurt in our own way. In unforgiveness we feel like we still have the upper hand in the situation. We do not. In unforgiveness we are simply held prisoner to its effects and awaiting a slow and exhausting death sentence.
Know that by the grace of God you can heal, you can forgive, you can live as a victor and not a victim, and you can start forgetting the past and pressing toward the goal of the prize of the upward call in Christ Jesus. Allow the Lord to truly take the wheel in your life so you can start the process. He will take what the enemy meant to destroy you and work it out for His glory.
Listen in and be encouraged at how God's provided for us even after we messed up so bad. He will do the same for you!
I pray that you are encouraged in God's grace. Listen in as I tell you about one of the many times God protected us.

Welcome to September! This time of the year in Colorado is my favorite because the weather is lovely, and the Fall colors are marvelous. I want to talk about resting in God’s grace this month. The grace is God is so amazing that I have seen some walk away from the Lord because they believe His grace is too good to be true. Well, it is too good, but it is so true. My life as been hectic these last several weeks with the sale of our home and moving. However, I am all too excited to encourage you about God’s grace and share with you great testimonies of how God’s grace has shown up in the mess of life for me and my family. Join me for the next 30 days as I share just that! – Blessings to you
